Her deathly pale cheeks were marbled by rivulets of tears mingled with makeup, and her exotic, amber-colored eyes gleamed strangely below thick layers of dark eye shadow, making her look like a silent movie star. I got this book from Amman in my last visit and it's amazing so far, I think I'll order the author other two translated books, also I'm jumping to audiobook when busy and the reader Justine Eyre has the most sensational voice ever! It was still an enjoyable read and made for light entertainment. Trying to assume the author's set poetic license in your own translation is a task I wouldn't attempt - even if I could speak German. As you can see, I flew through this book.

The book is not boring which is no easy featyou'll be entertained, but that's about it. I never connected with nor felt anything for any of the characters.
The Moonlit Garden
I wish the book had focused on Rose and spared me the ramblings of the adolescent-like main character waiting to be saved by prince charming. The information and locations in this book are surprising and new to me. Want to Read Currently Reading Read. Books by Corina Bomann.
I cannot deal with these kinds of things. I got this book as a Kindle first selection in January and picked it from what I already thought was a pretty poor selection of books on offer for the month. I am still pretty curious as to where it would have gone but I could not stomach the quality of writing any longer. That said, I'm not keen on romantic stories overall. My only criticism is that the language and dialogue sound mundane at times, but the plot was enough to keep me reading.

No one talks this way! She does a somewhat better job differentiating the female voices. As I liked the character of Rose, and hearing about her mondacheingarten. The past romance was disgusting given the fact that the man involved had a wife, but he lied about her only being her fiancee. To see what your friends thought of this book, please sign up.
I listened to this on Audible; it was narrated by Justine Eyre who is one of my favorite narrators. Incredible story This was my first mondscheingatten book as part of my prime membership, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice.
Possible spoilers Both stories brought me different emotions.
I really enjoyed the description of when the story went to Indonesia, as it reminded me of where I was born in Bruneias Sumatra sounds fairly similar. Sign in with Facebook Sign in options. I wanted to corinq its mondscheingadten so I continued. I have come to the conclusion that this is not school and I do not have to, nor do I have time to finish books I don't like. I try to follow the " - your age" rule dwr dropping books and I even gave it some extra pages, but I tap out. But as part of a reading challenge I am doing, I need to read a book that was not written in English, and when I saw that it has been translated from German, I decided to pick it!
Her discovery at the end actually totally threw me off - I never would have guessed what happened!
